FLORIDA HOSPITAL Fish Memorial celebrates 13 years of Touching Lives from our Orange City location.
FLORIDA HOSPITAL Fish Memorial is a 139-bed acute care facility with a rich heritage. The facility began as a 97-bed hospital in 1952, known as Fish Memorial Hospital.
In 1994, the hospital relocated from the original DeLand site to the current Orange City facility that was built to serve the needs of the growing population of Southwest Volusia County and renamed Volusia Medical Center.
Adventist Health System purchased Volusia Medical Center in 1998 and renamed the facility FLORIDA HOSPITAL Fish Memorial. The new name reflected the Florida Hospital culture, while commemorating the legacy of Judge Bert Fish, whose philanthropic ventures helped provide for the progression of health care in Volusia County.
The hospital is a part of the Adventist Health System (AHS), the largest not-for-profit Protestant health care system in the United States. FLORIDA HOSPITAL Fish Memorial exists to follow Christ’s healing ministry of restoring and promoting the health and quality of life of those we serve.
We are pleased to offer the community FLORIDA HOSPITAL Fish Imaging, an outpatient diagnostic center located on the campus of FLORIDA HOSPITAL Fish Memorial.
