FLORIDA HOSPITAL Fish Memorial’s Auxiliary is made up of volunteers who have been an integral part of the hospital since 1994. Auxilians share a common goal of providing aid and comfort to patients and their families. These men and women provide volunteer support and raise funds to benefit the hospital community as a whole.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The Auxiliary holds on Annual meeting and
two general meetings per year. Certificates
are awarded for the first 300 hours. Pins are awarded in 500 hour increments.
While on duty Auxilians are entitled to a free meal in the cafeteria Auxilians may choose to work the following shifts:
Mornings: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon Afternoons: 12:00 noon – 4:00 p.m. Evenings: 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. |

OPPORTUNITIES FOR SERVICE Below are areas where Auxiliary members are currently serving:
AUXILIARY PROJECTS AND PROGRAM Auxiliary members also have the option to become Ambassadors for the hospital through Premier Health. As Ambassadors, our members visit with each patient over the age of 65.
MEETING AND AWARDS Members are also eligible to attend seminars with the Auxiliary President and other officers. In the past, FLORIDA HOSPITAL Fish Memorial Auxilians have traveled to cities such as Melbourne, Orlando and Jacksonville. Service pins and awards are presented quarterly to Auxilians for hours of service to the hospital.

Whether serving in one of the patient care areas in the hospital, delivering flowers or staffing the information desk, Auxilians add a special caring touch to our services. Remember, a few hours of your time can make a difference in someone’s life. Volunteering time to help others is not only a wonderful way to support your community, but the weekly activity promotes wellness and a more active lifestyle.
