Computed Tomography (CT) uses 64-slice cutting- edge technology that dramatically increases the amount of data acquired from a single scan, obtaining 64 views in a single rotation around the body. This decreases the time needed to acquire the study and allows for more detailed images, including 3D image processing to assist the physician with diagnosis or evaluation of your condition.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) uses a non-radiation imaging technique to produce high-quality images of bones, soft tissues, and hard tissues primarily of the brain, spine and joints. The unit is a high quality 1.5 Tesla Magnet. Patients have a choice of watching television, listening to music or bringing a friend into the room to converse with during the exam.

Bone Density testing utilizing DEXA technology (Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometetry). DEXA is an enhanced form of x-ray technology that is used to measure bone loss. Most common examination sites are the hip, spine and sometimes the forearm. Evaluation also includes measurement of height and weight, a thorough history and risk assessment.
