New Leadership Positions Named
Sue Fowler
Lynn Maltby
ORANGE CITY, FLORIDA, July 25, 2006 Sue Fowler, RN, BSN, MBA, has been promoted from Administrative Director of Nursing to Chief Nursing Officer at FLORIDA HOSPITAL Fish Memorial. In addition to leading the Inpatient Nursing Units and Emergency Department, she will provide administrative oversight to Home Health, Wound Care, Education, Infection Control, and Patient Safety. Fowler joined the hospital in 1986 and has served in a variety of leadership roles including Assistant Vice President of Outpatient Services, Administrative Director of Case Management, and Nursing Supervisor.
The hospital also has announced the creation of a new role, Administrative Director of Business Development and Innovations. Lynn Maltby, RN, BS who has served the hospital as Director of Surgical Services for six years, will take on this new role to lead the hospital in expanding its outpatient services.
Maltby has been with the FLORIDA HOSPITAL system for 28 years in various capacities and locations. She will continue to provide administrative direction to the Surgical Services Department until a new director is hired.
