OUR MISSION
The Department of Rehabilitative Services works with patients, their physicians, families and our community to help improve function and quality of life through effective treatment interventions and education. We function as a proactive team with other healthcare professionals to listen, motivate and instill confidence that will meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient. We strive for efficiency, providing timely and accurate information to our payors and vendors. Our mission is always guided by our own and this organization’s strong Christian values.

	LYMPHEDEMA MANAGEMENT When Lymphedema is diagnosed promptly and treatment begun early, patients can enjoy productive lives with few complications and little or no lifestyle restriction.
	OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY Occupational Therapy provides patients with purposeful, goal-oriented activities and exercise focused to achieve optimum functioning, to prevent disabilities and maintain health.
	PHYSICAL THERAPY Physical Therapy addresses strength, mobility, balance and walking difficulties via individualized exercises and gait training programs.
	SPEECH THERAPY Speech-Language Therapy is directed toward helping patients develop or regain effective communication and swallowing skills.
	DISCHARGE PLANNING During this discharge planning process, we will provide you with instructions to help you to make a smooth transition from the hospital to the next care setting.
